The Wife of A Lin
阿鄰妻沙裏質者，金源郡王銀術可之妹。
The wife of A Lin, Shali Zhi, was a younger sister of Yanshuke, Prince of Jinyuan Commandery.
是時，阿鄰從軍，沙裏質糾集附近居民得男女五百人，樹營柵為保守計。
A Lin was away on campaign; Shali Zhi rallied five hundred local men and women, threw up palisades, and prepared to hold out.
賊千余來攻，沙裏質以氈為甲，以裳為旗，男夫授甲，婦女鼓噪，沙裏質仗劍督戰，凡三日賊去。
When more than a thousand raiders attacked, she improvised armor from felt and banners from skirts, armed the men, set the women to shouting, and herself took sword in hand to direct the fight; after three days the enemy withdrew.
皇統二年，論功封金源郡夫人。
In the second year of Huangtong (1142) she was enfeoffed as Lady of Jinyuan Commandery in recognition of her service.
