爽親率李充節等四將出朔州，遇沙缽略可汗于白道，接戰，大破之，虜獲千餘人，驅馬牛羊巨萬。 Shuang personally led Li Chongjie and three other generals out of Shuozhou, met Qaghan Shabolüe at White Road, and routed him decisively. They took more than a thousand prisoners and drove off tens of thousands of horses, cattle, and sheep.

沙缽略可汗中重創而遁。 Qaghan Shabolüe himself was gravely wounded and fled.
