勔遣龍驤將軍曲元德輕兵進討，虜眾驚散。 Mian sent general of the dragon cavalry Qu Yuande forward with light troops in attack, and the barbarian host scattered in alarm.

元德單騎直入，斬拔首，因進攻汝陽臺，即陷外壘，獲車一千三百乘，斬首一百五十級。 Yuande rode in alone, beheaded Ba, then advanced to attack the Ruyang terrace, at once taking the outer rampart, capturing thirteen hundred carts, and taking one hundred fifty heads.
