既卒，會兵部以慶廉送武會試有殘疾，為監試御史所劾。 After his death, the Ministry of War sent Qing Lian to the military metropolitan examination despite his physical disability, and the responsible officials were impeached by the supervising censor.

先是那清安為監射大臣，曾以慶廉殘疾扣除，上追念其持正，予其子全慶加二級。 Earlier, when Na Qingan had served as supervising archery officer, he had disqualified Qing Lian for disability. The emperor recalled his integrity and granted his son Quanqing a two-grade promotion.
