天監中，起家奉朝請，稍遷宣惠晉安王府參軍，兼限內記室，出補西昌相。 In Tianjian he began as court gentleman for attendance, rose to staff equal on the Xuanhui staff of the Prince of Jin'an with concurrent inner-recorder duties, then went out as magistrate of Xichang.
