乃顏、也不堅有異圖，也不堅引兵趨怯綠憐河大帳。 Nayan and Yebuqa harbored treasonous designs, and Yebuqa marched his troops toward the great tent on the Qielülin River.

時怯必禿忽兒霍臺誘蒙古軍二萬從乃顏，牙忽都知之，夜襲其河上軍，突入帳中，遇忽都滅兒堅，幾獲之，間道逸去。 Qibitughur Huotai had meanwhile won twenty thousand Mongol troops to Nayan's side; learning of this, Yahudou struck their riverside camp by night, broke into the tent, and nearly seized Hudumirjian, who escaped by a hidden route.

二十四年，乃顏叛，從帝親征，以功封濟寧郡王，賜白傘蓋以寵之。 In the twenty-fourth year, when Nayan rebelled, he joined the emperor's personal campaign, was enfeoffed as Prince of Jining Commandery for his merit, and granted a white parasol canopy.

二十四年，從族父按答兒禿征叛王乃顏有功，亦賜號拔都兒。 In the twenty-fourth year he followed his kinsman Anchadartu against the rebel prince Nayan and distinguished himself, earning the heroic title Batuur.

其子曰不只兒，從征乃顏，禽其黨金家奴，帝賞以金帶。 His son Bozhuer joined the campaign against Nayan, seized the rebel partisan Jinjianu, and was awarded a gold belt.

劄忽兒臣有子二人：長月列臺，娶皇子賽因主卜女哈答罕公主，生脫別臺，與乃顏戰，有功。 Zhahuerichen had two sons. The elder, Yuelietai, married Prince Saiyinzhubu's daughter Princess Hadahan and fathered Tuobietai, who distinguished himself fighting Nayan.

乃顏、聲剌哈兒叛，世祖新征，薛徹堅等與哈答罕屢戰，帝召忽憐至。 When Nayan and Shenglaha'er rebelled, Kublai was on campaign. Xuechejian and others fought repeatedly with Hadahan, and the emperor summoned Hulian.

至元二十四年，乃顏叛，帝親征，勝直武帳中，雖親王不得輒至。 In 1287, when Nayan rebelled, the emperor led the campaign in person. Sheng stayed in the military headquarters throughout, and even princes were not allowed to approach without permission.

乃顏既敗，帝還都，乘輿夜行，足苦寒，勝解衣，以身溫之。 After Nayan's defeat, as the emperor made the night journey back to the capital, his feet grew bitterly cold. Sheng took off his own clothes and warmed them against his body.
