武帝阿史那皇后，突厥木扞可汗俟斤之女。
Empress Ashina, consort of Emperor Wu Yuwen Yong, was the daughter of Irkin, khan of the Turks, Muhan Khan.
俟斤初欲以女配帝，旣而悔之。
Irkin at first wished to give his daughter to the Zhou emperor, but afterward changed his mind.
高祖卽位，前後累遣使要結，乃許歸后於我。
When High Ancestor Yuwen Yong ascended the throne, envoys were repeatedly sent to renew the alliance, and Irkin finally agreed to send the empress to Zhou.
