己丑，以阻卜磨古斯為諸部長。 On jichou day Zubu Mogusi was made chief of all tribes.

辛酉，阻卜磨古斯殺金吾吐古斯以叛，遣奚六部禿裏耶律郭三發諸蕃部兵討之。 On xinyou day Zubu Mogusi killed Defender of the Golden Crow Tugusi and rebelled; Xi Six Tribes Tulie Yelü Guosan was dispatched to lead various tribal troops against him.

二月，磨古斯來侵。 In the second month Mogusi came to invade.

三月，西北路招討使耶律阿魯掃古追磨古斯還，都監蕭張九遇賊，與戰不利。 In the third month Northwest Route pacification commissioner Yelü Arusaguo pursued Mogusi back; inspector-general Xiao Zhangjiu encountered the bandits and fighting was unfavorable.

冬十月庚戌，有司奏磨古斯詣西北路招討使耶律撻不也偽降，既而乘虛來襲，撻不也死之。 On gengxu day of the tenth winter month the relevant offices memorialized that Mogusi feigned surrender to Northwest Route pacification commissioner Yelü Tabuye, then seized an opening to attack; Tabuye died in the fight.

庚戌，以知北院樞密使事耶律斡特剌為都統，夷離畢耶律禿朵為副統，龍虎衛上將軍耶律胡呂都監，討磨古斯，遣積慶宮使蕭虬裏監戰。 On gengxu day Yelü Wotela, who administered Northern Court privy affairs, was made supreme commander; yilibi Yelü Tuduo deputy commander; Dragon-Tiger Guard upper general Yelü Hulu army supervisor to attack Mogusi; Jiqing Palace commissioner Xiao Qiuli supervised the campaign.

是月，斡特剌破磨古斯。 That month Wotela defeated Mogusi.

戊子，西北路統軍司奏討磨古斯捷。 On wuzi day Northwest Route supreme commander's office memorialized victory over Mogusi.

明年冬，以北阻卜長磨古斯叛，與招討都監耶律胡呂率精騎二千往討，破之。 The next winter, when the Northern Zubu chieftain Mogusi rebelled, he and campaign chief overseer Yelu Hulu led two thousand elite cavalry against him and defeated him.

時邊部耶睹刮等來侵，何魯掃古誘北阻卜酋豪磨古斯攻之，俘獲甚眾，以功加左僕射。 When the frontier tribes led by Yeduogua raided the border, Helusaogu induced the Northern Zubu chieftain Mogusi to strike them, took a great haul of captives, and was promoted to left vice director for his service.

復討耶睹刮等，誤擊磨古斯，北阻卜由是叛命。 On a renewed campaign against Yeduogua and his allies he mistakenly attacked Mogusi, and the Northern Zubu thereupon rebelled.

化哥利俘獲，而諸蕃不附，何魯掃古誤擊磨古斯，而阻卜叛命，是皆喜於一旦之功，而不圖後日之患，庸何議焉。 Huage prized captives while the frontier tribes would not attach themselves; Helusaogu struck Mogusi by mistake and the Zubu rebelled—these men rejoiced in a single day's gain and gave no thought to tomorrow's trouble; what is there to commend?

會天大雪，敗磨古斯四別部，斬首千餘級，拜西北路招討使，封漆水郡王，加賜宣力守正功臣。 Heavy snow fell at the time; he defeated four of Mogusi's sub-divisions, took more than a thousand heads, was appointed Commissioner for Pacification of the Northwest Route, enfeoffed as Prince of Qishui Commandery, and further granted the merit title Upholding Integrity with Dedicated Strength.

明年，擒磨古斯，加守太保，賜奉國匡化功臣。 The following year he captured Mogusi, was promoted to Defender Grand Guardian, and was granted the merit title Supporting the State and Rectifying Transformation.
