總督苗澄、巡撫張德地薦廉能，舉卓異，會裁缺，改陝西安化知縣。 Governor-General Miao Cheng and Governor Zhang Dedi praised his integrity and ability and marked him as outstanding; when posts were reduced he was reassigned as magistrate of Anhua in Shaanxi.
