龍泉知縣茅國璽以印揭薦武童，掞疏劾，國璽坐譴，別疏陳剔除積弊，報聞。 When Longquan magistrate Mao Guoxi used his official seal to recommend a military candidate, Shan impeached him and Mao was punished. Shan also submitted a separate memorial on rooting out abuses, which the throne acknowledged.
