盧詹，字楚良，京兆長安人也。 Lu Zhan, whose courtesy name was Chuliang, came from Chang'an in Jingzhao.

詹性剛直，議論不避權貴，執政者常惡之。 Zhan was by nature forthright and upright; in debate he did not spare powerful nobles, and those in power often hated him.

詹家無長物，喪具不給，少帝聞之，賜布帛百段，粟麥百斛，方能襄其葬事。 Zhan's household had few possessions and could not supply funeral goods. When the Lesser Emperor heard of this, he granted a hundred bolts of cloth and silk and a hundred hu of grain and wheat, enabling his burial to be properly carried out.
