北路漸清，進規廬、鳳，擒定遠捻首陸遐齡，散其眾四千餘，被褒賚。 As the northern front was gradually pacified, he advanced toward Luzhou and Fengyang, captured the Dingyuan Nian leader Lu Xialing, dispersed his force of more than four thousand men, and received commendation and rewards.
