後有選人魯漫漢，自言猥賤，獨不見識。 Later there was a candidate Lu Manhan who said of himself that he was base and lowly and alone went unrecognized.

漫漢驚服。 Manhan was startled and submitted.

又調之曰：「名以定體，漫漢果自不虛。」 He also teased him, saying, "The name fixes the substance—Manhan indeed is not empty."
