宏前為中丞時，方進為御史大夫，舉掾隆可侍御史，宏奏隆前奉使欺謾，不宜執法近侍，方進以此怨宏。 When Sun Hong was Censor-in-Chief and Fangjin imperial counselor, Fangjin recommended his clerk Long as an attendant censor. Hong objected in a memorial that Long had deceived the court on an earlier mission and was unfit for a law-enforcement post near the emperor. Fangjin never forgave him.
