吳王濞，高帝兄仲之子也。 Liu Bi, king of Wu, was the son of Liu Zhong, the founder’s elder brother.

高帝立仲為代王。 The founder first made Liu Zhong king of Dai.

匈奴攻代，仲不能堅守，棄國間行，走雒陽，自歸，天子不忍致法，廢為合陽侯。 The nomads struck Dai; Liu Zhong failed to defend it. He slipped away to Luoyang and gave himself up. The emperor spared him the full penalty and reduced him to marquis of Heyang.
