後為興安侯義賓輔國司馬、彭城太守。 He was later made staff officer to the Pacifying State for Marquis of Xing'an Yibin and Administrator of Pengcheng.

義賓薨，玄謨上表，以彭城要兼水陸，請以皇子撫臨州事，乃以孝武出鎮。 After Yibin's death, Xuanmo memorialized that Pengcheng was crucial by land and water and asked that a prince govern the province; Emperor Xiaowu was then sent to take command.
