邓太后诏，使与校书刘騊駼、马融及《五经》博士，校定东观五经、诸子传记、百家艺术，整齐脱误，是正文字。 Empress Dowager Deng ordered him, with the collators Liu Taotu and Ma Rong and the erudites of the Five Classics, to work in the Eastern Lodge collating the Five Classics, masters, biographies, and technical writings of the hundred schools, putting omissions and errors in order and correcting the text.

永宁元年，太后又诏珍与騊駼作建武已来名臣传，迁侍中、越骑校尉。 In Yongning 1, the empress dowager again ordered Zhen and Taotu to compile Biographies of Famous Ministers Since Jianwu. He was promoted to palace attendant and colonel of the Yue cavalry.
