氣之清濁不可以筆授，聲之善否不可以口傳，故鳧氏鑄金，伶倫截竹。 The clarity and turbidity of qi cannot be conveyed in writing; the quality of sound cannot be passed on by word of mouth. Therefore the Fu clan cast bells and Ling Lun cut bamboo pipes.
