詔採購遺書，乾學以宋、元經解、李燾續通鑑長編及唐開元禮，或繕寫，或仍古本，綜其體要，條列奏進，上稱善。 When the court ordered the acquisition of rare books, Qianxue submitted Song and Yuan classical commentaries, Li Tao's Continuation of the Comprehensive Mirror, and the Tang Kaiyuan Rites—some freshly copied, some in antique editions—with a synopsis of each; the emperor commended his work.
