處溫聞上入夾山，數日命令不通，即與弟處能、子奭，外假怨軍，內結都統蕭幹，謀立淳。 Chuwen heard that Tianzuo had entered Jia Mountain and that no orders had come through for several days. Together with his younger brother Chuneng and his son Shi, he outwardly relied on the Resentment Army and secretly allied with Commander-in-Chief Xiao Gan to place Chun on the throne.

處溫等請淳受禮，淳方出，李奭持赭袍被之，令百官拜舞山呼。 Chuwen and the others urged Chun to accept the imperial rites. As he came out, Li Shi draped the ochre robe over him and ordered the assembled officials to bow, dance, and acclaim their new emperor.

以處溫守太尉，左企弓守司徒，曹勇義知樞密院事，虞仲文參知政事，張琳守太師，李處能直樞密院，李奭為少府少監、提舉翰林醫官，李爽、陳秘十餘人曾與大計，並賜進士及第，授官有差。 Chuwen was appointed acting Grand Commandant; Zuo Qigong, acting Minister over the Masses; Cao Yongyi, director of privy council affairs; Yu Zhongwen, assistant director of state affairs; Zhang Lin, acting Grand Preceptor; Li Chuneng, attendant of the privy council; and Li Shi, junior director of the court of imperial manufactories and supervisor of the Hanlin medical officers. Li Shuang, Chen Mi, and more than ten others who had participated in the great plan were all granted the presented scholar degree and appointed to offices of varying rank.

處溫與族弟處能、子奭，外假怨軍聲援，結都統蕭幹謀立魏國王淳，召番、漢官屬詣魏王府勸進。 Chuwen, together with his clansman Chuneng and his son Shi, outwardly invoked the support of the Resentful Army and joined commander-in-chief Xiao Gan in a plot to install Prince Chun of Wei. They summoned Khitan and Han officials to the prince's mansion to urge him to take the throne.

魏國王將出，奭乃持赭袍衣之，令百官拜舞稱賀。 As the Prince of Wei was about to emerge, Shi brought forward an imperial ochre robe and dressed him in it, then ordered the officials to bow and dance in congratulation.

以處溫守太尉，處能直樞密院，奭為少府少監，左企弓以下及親舊與其事者，賜官有差。 Chuwen was appointed acting grand marshal, Chuneng director of the privy council, and Shi vice director of the palace workshops. Zuo Qigong and those below him, along with kinsmen and allies who had taken part in the affair, received offices of varying rank.

處溫無以對，乃賜死，奭亦伏誅。 Chuwen had no reply and was ordered to take his own life. Shi was executed as well.
