無何，萬年丞源邃為京兆尹李齊運所抑捽至死，縱劾奏不行。 Soon afterward Yuan Sui, assistant magistrate of Wannian, was crushed to death under oppression by Jingzhao Intendant Li Qiyun; Zong submitted an impeachment, but no action was taken.

齊運入為京兆尹，表奉先主簿，拜監察御史，坐累免。 When Qiyun became Jingzhao magistrate, he recommended Ning as Fengxian chief clerk; Ning became Attending Censor but was dismissed for a fault.
