先是，濤於東京放榜後，引新及第進士劉坦已下一十五人赴行在，帝命翰林學士李昉覆試，故有是命。 Earlier, after Tao posted the results in the Eastern Capital he led the fifteen newly passed jinshi from Liu Tan downward to the field headquarters. The emperor ordered Hanlin academician Li Fang to re-examine them, and therefore issued this order.

開寶中，四方漸平，民稍休息，乃命御史中丞劉溫叟、中書舍人李昉、兵部員外郎、知制誥盧多遜、左司員外郎、知制誥扈蒙、太子詹事楊昭儉、左補闕賈黃中、司勳員外郎和峴、太子中舍陳鄂撰《開寶通禮》二百卷，本唐《開元禮》而損益之。 During Kaibao, as the empire gradually settled and the people gained some respite, Liu Wensou, Li Fang, Lu Duoxun, Hu Meng, Yang Zhaojian, Jia Huangzhong, He Xian, and Chen E were ordered to compile the Kaibao Comprehensive Rites in two hundred juan, based on the Tang Kaiyuan Rites with additions and subtractions.
