鳳山莠民楊良斌煽眾起事，檄巡道孔昭虔、知府孔傳穟剿治，未一月而定，不煩一兵渡海。 A troublemaker of Fengshan named Yang Liangbin incited a popular uprising; Shenzhen dispatched orders to the circuit intendant Kong Zhaoqian and the prefect Kong Chuansui to suppress it, and within a month the affair was settled without a single soldier crossing the strait.
