甲大窮，還報皇太后曰：「王已願尚娥，然事有所害，恐如燕王。」 Xu Jia, badly cornered, returned and reported to the empress dowager: "The king was willing to marry E, but there was danger in the matter; he feared it would be like the case of the king of Yan."

燕王者，與其子昆弟姦，坐死。 He meant the scandal of the king of Yan, who had lain with his kindred and was executed for it.
