江都王入朝，從上獵上林中。 The king of Jiangdu attended court and joined a hunt in Shanglin Park.

江都王望見，以為天子，辟從者，伏謁道旁。 The king mistook the party for the emperor, sent his escort aside, and knelt by the road.

既過，江都王怒，為皇太后泣，請得歸國入宿衛，比韓嫣。 Humiliated, the king wept to the empress dowager and asked to return his kingdom and enter palace guard duty, to be treated like Han Yan.
