宋元嘉末，弟尉之為武進縣戍，隨王誕起義，太初遣軍主華欽討之，吏民皆散，尉之獨留，見執將死。 Late in the Yuanjia era his brother Weizhi was stationed at Wujin. When Prince Dan of Sui rebelled, the court sent Commander Hua Qin against him. Officials and commoners fled, but Weizhi alone stayed behind, was captured, and was about to be put to death.
