有白馬將出護其兵，李廣上馬與十餘騎奔射殺胡白馬將，而復還至其騎中，解鞍，令士皆縱馬臥。 A barbarian general on a white horse rode out to marshal his troops. Li Guang mounted up and, with a dozen or so riders, galloped forward and shot the white-horse general dead. He then returned to his own men, unsaddled the horses, and ordered the soldiers to release the horses and lie down.
