嫣弟說，以校尉擊匈奴，封龍額侯。 Yan's younger brother Shuo, serving as a captain against the Xiongnu, was enfeoffed as Marquis of Long'e.

後坐酎金失侯，復以待詔為橫海將軍，擊破東越，封按道侯。 Later he lost his marquisate because of the tribute-gold offense, but was again summoned to await imperial command and was made General Who Crosses the Seas. He attacked and defeated Dongyue and was enfeoffed as Marquis of Andao.

太初中，為游擊將軍屯五原外列城，還為光祿勳，掘蠱太子宮，為太子所殺。 During the Taichu period, he served as General of Mobile Cavalry and was stationed at the outer line of forts beyond Wuyuan. On his return he became Chamberlain for Attendants, dug for witchcraft evidence in the crown prince's palace, and was killed by the crown prince.

上曰：「游擊將軍死事，無論坐者。」 The emperor said, "The raiding general died in the line of duty; do not implicate anyone for his crimes."

嫣弟說，亦愛幸，以軍功封案道侯，巫蠱時為戾太子所殺。 His brother Han Shuo, another favorite, became marquis of Andao on merit and was killed by the heir apparent Li in the witchcraft scandal.

後歲餘，說孫曾拜為龍頟侯，續說後。 More than a year later, Yue's grandson Zeng was enfeoffed as the Marquis of Longe to continue Yue's line.

天子遣橫海將軍韓說出句章，浮海從東方往； The emperor dispatched the General Who Crosses the Sea, Han Yue, from Gouzhang to sail across the sea and approach from the east;

及橫海將軍先至，越衍侯吳陽以其邑七百人反，攻越軍於漢陽。 When the General Who Crosses the Sea was the first to arrive, the Marquis of Yueyan, Wu Yang, turned against Yu Shan with seven hundred men from his estate and attacked the Yue army at Hanyang.

乃遂俱殺餘善，以其眾降橫海將軍，故封繇王居股為東成侯，萬戶； They killed Yu Shan and surrendered their forces to the General Who Crosses the Sea. For this, the King of Yao, Ju Gu, was enfeoffed as the Marquis of Dongcheng with a fief of ten thousand households;

封橫海將軍說為案道侯； The General Who Crosses the Sea, Han Yue, was made the Marquis of Andao;
