良曰：「臣為韓王送沛公，不可不告，亡去不義。」 Liang said, "The King of Han sent me to escort Pei Gong. I cannot fail to inform him; to flee would be unrighteous."

初，項梁立韓後公子成為韓王，張良為韓司徒。 Initially, Xiang Liang established the Han royal descendant Cheng as King of Han, with Zhang Liang as Han tutor.

羽以良從漢王，韓王成又無功，故不遣就國，與俱至彭城，殺之。 Because Zhang Liang had accompanied the King of Han (Liu Bang), and King Cheng of Han had achieved nothing, Xiang Yu would not let Cheng go to his kingdom; he brought Cheng to Pengcheng and killed him.

出逐義帝彭城，自都之，奪韓王地，并王梁楚，多自與，罪八也。 He drove out the Righteous Emperor to Pengcheng, made it his own capital, seized King Cheng of Han's territory, merged the domains of Liang and Chu under himself, and kept most of the gain for himself. This is crime eight.

良乃說項梁曰：「君已立楚後，而韓諸公子橫陽君成賢，可立為王，益樹黨。」 Liang then counseled Xiang Liang, 'You have already set up a successor to Chu. Among the princes of Han, Lord Hengyang, Han Cheng, is a worthy man. If you install him as King of Han, it will strengthen your alliances.'

項梁使良求韓成，立以為韓王。 Xiang Liang sent Liang to find Han Cheng and installed him as King of Han.

以良為韓申徒，與韓王將千餘人西略韓地，得數城，秦輒復取之，往來為游兵潁川。 He appointed Liang as Marshal of Han. Together with the King of Han, Liang led just over a thousand men westward to raid the old Han territories, taking several cities. But Qin forces always retook them, and they ended up roaming the Yingchuan region as a guerrilla force.
