倉吏高添鳳盜米事覺，坐久任倉場無所覺察，褫宮銜，降二品頂戴，革職留任，久乃復之。 When granary clerk Gao Tianfeng's theft came to light, Bingtai was blamed for failing to detect it during his long tenure; he lost his honorific rank and second-rank insignia, was dismissed but kept on, and eventually had them restored.
