高媽達妖言惑眾，捕獲，訊得劉林、祝現謀以次年閏八月望在京師舉事，四方起應之。 Gao Mada was arrested for spreading sedition. Under interrogation he revealed that Liu Lin and Zhu Xian planned an uprising in the capital on the full moon of the intercalary eighth month the following year, with supporters to rise across the empire.

崇華牒請奏聞，大吏以其語不經，置之，僅以傳教罪誅高媽達。 Chonghua urgently memorialized the court, but senior officials dismissed his report as incredible and executed Gao Mada only for illegal preaching.

自高媽達伏法，福建匪黨巳解散，得無事。 After Gao Mada's execution the rebel cells in Fujian had already broken up, and the province escaped further trouble.
