「若夫青琴、虙妃之徒，絕殊離俗，妖冶閒都，靚莊刻飾，便□綽約，柔橈□，嫵媚纖弱，曳獨繭之□□，眇閻易以恤削，便姍□屑，與世殊服，芬芳漚郁，酷烈淑郁，皓齒粲爛，宜笑的皪，長眉連娟，微睇綿藐，色授魂予，心愉於側。」
“As for women like Qingqin and Fufei, they were set apart from the ordinary world: alluring, elegant, composed, and richly adorned, nimble and [lacuna] graceful, soft, yielding, [lacuna], charming, delicate, slender, and frail. They trailed garments of single-cocoon [lacuna], faint and slender, moving with easy grace, their dress unlike that of the common world. Their fragrance was dense and luxuriant, their scent intense and lovely; their white teeth shone, their smiles glittered, their long brows curved finely, and their slight glances drifted into the distance. Their beauty seized the soul, and the heart rejoiced beside them.”
