而大夫范宣子亦曰：「祖自虞以上為陶唐氏，在夏為御龍氏，在商為豕韋氏，在周為唐杜氏，晉主夏盟為范氏。」 Grandee Fan Xuanzi also said: "From the time of Yu and earlier, our ancestors were the House of Taotang; in Xia they were the Dragon-Taming clan; in Shang they were the Shiwei clan; in Zhou they were the Tangdu clan; and in Jin, when they presided over the Xia covenant, they were the Fan clan."
