近孝武之末，天下無事，時和年豐，百姓樂業，便自谷帛殷阜，幾乎家給人足，驗之事實，錢又不妨民也。 Near the end of Emperor Xiaowu's reign the realm was at peace; seasons were mild and harvests abundant; the people were content in their work, and grain and cloth themselves grew plentiful, nearly to the point of abundance in every home—facts show that coin did the people no harm.
