孝閔帝踐阼，進爵新義郡公，增邑通前三千八百戶，賜姓宇文氏。 When Emperor Xiaomin took the throne, Xiong was raised to Duke of Xinyi, his fief increased to a total of three thousand eight hundred households, and he was granted the surname Yuwen.
