胡睹族弟敵烈為北克，薦國舅詳穩蕭胡篤於胡睹，胡睹見其辨給壯勇，傾心交結。 Hudu's clansman Dilie served as a Northern ke; he recommended the imperial uncle's detail-stable Xiao Huduo to Hudu, and when Hudu saw how eloquent and bold he was he gave himself wholeheartedly to the friendship.

會胡睹同知北院樞密事，奏胡篤及敵烈可用，帝以敵烈為旗鼓拽剌詳穩，胡篤為宿直官。 When Hudu became associate administrator of Northern Court privy affairs, he memorialized that Huduo and Dilie were fit for service; the emperor appointed Dilie drum-and-banner zhala detail-stable and Huduo a night-duty officer.
