夏四月戊申朔，進封太平王罨撒葛為齊王，改封趙王喜隱為宋王，封隆先為平王，稍為吳王，道隱為蜀王，必攝為越王，敵烈為冀王，宛為衛王。 That summer, on the wushen new moon of the fourth month, Prince of Taiping Yansage was advanced to Prince of Qi; Prince of Zhao Xiyin was renamed Prince of Song; Longxian was made Prince of Ping, Shao Prince of Wu, Daoyin Prince of Shu, Bishe Prince of Yue, Dilie Prince of Ji, and Wan Prince of Wei.

壬午，漢為宋人所侵，遣使求援，命南府宰相耶律沙、冀王敵烈赴之。 On renwu day Han, under attack by Song, sent envoys begging aid; Southern Court chancellor Yelü Sha and Prince of Ji Dilie were ordered to march to their relief.

三月癸亥，耶律沙、敵烈獻援漢之役所獲宋俘。 On guihai day in the third month Yelü Sha and Delie presented Song prisoners captured during the expedition to aid Han.

詔南府宰相耶律沙為都統、冀王敵烈為監軍赴之； An edict named Southern Court chancellor Yelü Sha commander-in-chief and Prince of Ji Delie army supervisor and ordered them to march to Han's relief;

丁酉，耶律沙等與宋戰於白馬嶺，不利，冀王敵烈及突呂不部節度使都敏、黃皮室詳穩唐筈皆死之，士卒死傷甚眾。 On dingyou day Yelü Sha and the others battled Song at White Horse Ridge and were defeated; Prince of Ji Delie, Tulu Bu Route Military Commissioner Du Min, and Yellow Pishi xiangwen Tang Kuo were killed, and casualties among the troops were very heavy.

沙與諸將欲待後軍至而戰，冀王敵烈、監軍耶律抹只等以為急擊之便，沙不能奪。 Sha and his fellow commanders wanted to hold action until the rear guard came up; the Prince of Ji, Dilie, the army supervisor Yelu Mozhi, and others argued for an immediate assault, and Sha could not prevail against them.

敵烈等以先鋒渡澗，未半，為宋人所擊，兵潰。 Dilie and his colleagues took the vanguard across the ravine, but before they were even halfway over the Song struck them and the force broke in rout.

敵烈及其子蛙哥、沙之子德裏、令穩都敏、詳穩唐筈等五將俱沒。 Dilie, his son Wage, Sha's son Deli, the lingwen Dumin, and the xiangwen Tanghua—five generals in all—were killed.
