伯之與豫章人鄧繕、永興人戴永忠並有舊，繕經藏伯之息英免禍，伯之尤德之。 He was old friends with Deng Shan of Yuzhang and Dai Yongzhong of Yongxing; Shan had once hidden his son Ying from harm, and Bozhi owed him deeply.
