五十年，以山西流匪陳四等潛入湖廣，鳩黨劫掠，世隆前任總督坐失察，奪官。 In Kangxi 50 (1711), when Shanxi bandits led by Chen Si infiltrated Huguang and raided, Shilong was punished for failing to detect them during his earlier term and lost his post.
