其冬，將軍賚塔自南寧直進雲南，檄承業至西隆。 That winter General Caita advanced from Nanning toward Yunnan and summoned Chengye to Xilong.

從將軍賚塔下雲南，為前鋒。 He followed General Caita into Yunnan as vanguard.

忠孝既戰沒，桂佐賚塔定雲南，代為左翼總兵官。 After Zhongxiao's death, Gui helped Caita pacify Yunnan and succeeded him as Left Wing commander-in-chief.

十九年，莽依圖卒於軍，顧八代從平南大將軍賚塔下雲南，攻會城。 In year 19 Manggitu died in camp. Gu Badai followed Pacification of the South Grand General Laita south into Yunnan to besiege the provincial capital.

八年，建賢良祠京師，諭滿洲大臣當入祀者五人，大學士圖海、都統賚塔，次即顧八代，及尚書瑪爾漢、齊蘇勒。 In year 8 the Worthy and Good Shrine was built in the capital. An edict named five Manchu ministers for enshrinement: Grand Secretary Tuhai and Commander-in-chief Ceben, then Gu Badai, and Ministers Ma Erhan and Qisuole.
