不忽木以因學行薦於朝，至元十九年，有詔徵因，擢承德郎、右贊善大夫。 Buqa recommended Liu Yin to the court for his scholarship and character. In the nineteenth year of the Zhiyuan era (1282), an imperial edict summoned him, and he was appointed Gentleman for Supporting Virtue and Right Assistant to the Heir Apparent.
